I am so excited that Autumn is around the corner that I decided to bring back one of my favorite flavors a little early. What is it about pumpkin and maple that is so inviting? I think that they invoke feelings of home – of crisp, cool days and the good smells that come from a warm kitchen. So join me in welcoming back our old friend, Pumpkin Cake with Maple Syrup frosting. We are also saying hello to Almond Cherry Cake, Charleston Caramel Cake and Bananas Foster, our version of the New Orleans classic. We have created an option called Southern Kitchen, that includes our favorite cakes of the South, that we know you will love no matter where you are from!

We are also getting ready for a busy holiday season, and are thrilled to have been chosen to participate in A Capitol Collection of Holiday Shops, the fabulous market organized by the Junior League of Washington. This wonderful event will be held at the Washington Marriot Wardman Park Hotel on November 19 – 21, 2010. You could take care of your entire holiday list in one afternoon!
